Im writing an essay for science on light, and i need to know how the Sun can cure depression, and maybe how lack of sun/light could cause depression. Thanks!

kathyw22 asked: I’ve been feeling really blue lately. Tired all the time and crying often. I also feel nauseous everytime I eat or sometimes even think of food. I know I am not pregnant so thats not an answer. I have delt with depression before and I would typically go see a doctor, however, I no long have health insurance. Does anyone know if there is something I can take over the counter to help?
Thanks!

I used to take Effexor but I’ve since lost my insurance. I got a new insurance that doesn’t cover effexor so I’m just wondering if anybody knows of any good over-the-counter or all natural remedies for minimizing or eliminating depression. All opinions and tips greatly appreciated. Thank you!

About 2 years back I was thrown in to a rather deep depression(a few scars left to prove it).
Now, I have been thrown back in to that depression again, and I dont know what to do…
Rickie-
I guess that could be the problem. All the people I meet online live hundreds of miles away, I have no friends in school, I do not have a boyfriend, none the less a supportive family =\

I think that I may be a little midly depressed… I go through mood swings and I am a little worried about it. I don’t have insurance so I cannot go to the doctor for this. I was wondering if anyone knew of anything over the counter than may help!
The world of health and wellness has recently been shook-up by a marble sized fruit. Harvested in the rain forests of the Amazon, the acai (pronounced ah-cye-EE) berry is the latest health phenomenon. A lack of vital nutrients could cause a chemical imbalance resulting in depression, insomnia and other mental illnesses. The acai berry is chalked full of many nutrients to improve stability of the mind and body.
Studies by the University of Florida have discovered the acai’s ability to prevent and suppress common cancer cells. Cancers including breast, colon and prostate are very common in the United States. Taking acai once a day helps prevent many of these cancers from occurring. The term “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” should be replaced with acai. In all seriousness, considering a visit to the doctor isn’t cheap or fun which option would be more ideal? Dr. Nicolas Periconne is a skin doctor or dermatologist for celebrities, he has published a book on the many affects the acai berry has. The book, “Top Ten Superfoods” has the acai berry listed in the top three category.
The acai berry contains the highest amount of antioxidants. Antioxidants are molecules that repair damage from exposure to oxygen and other natural forces. Omega 3 which also is found inside of the acai berry lower the risk of cancer growth. Vitamin B is found in many energy drinks because it boosts mental and physical energy levels. The acai doesn’t leave the body burnt out after wards like coffee or energy drinks. Improved energy levels translates into waking up without feeling groggy or extremely tired.
There will always be skeptics among the public, questioning every aspect of the acai. One free trial will quell these unhappy souls. A small shipping fee could dramatically change their beliefs. Within the first few days of using the acai, a noticeable change in attitude and health will surprise any critic.
Did you know you can get a sample of free acai berries?
