When does someone get the point where help from medication is needed. I know someone who is suffering from a form of depression but is worried that the antidepression tablets will have worse side effects. Its hard to know if its severe depression or even depression at all.

I am a 34 year old mom of a 2 year old. I lost my sex drive when I got pregnant. I am also depressed. If my boyfriend of 5 years is not home I want him so bad that I masturbate to take of myself. Then he comes home and it’s time to get to it and I don’t want him to touch me. I fake it so I won’t lose him, but is there a medication out there that will cure both my low sex drive and my depression?

Medication is already the last thing we seek to cure depression. If this even doesn’t work, what else can we do? Take 2 or 3 pills at once?
