I don’t know about “smart enough”, but I know a great deal about that era as it is my favorite topic of study. Rather than a long drawn out answer, look at the source link and scroll to the last couple of paragraphs under “Recession of 1937 and recovery”. It speaks of the Keynesians and also a poll of how American people felt about the Roosevelt administration delaying business recovery.
I think that should help the “cons” of your paper. It is my contention that the War ended the depression. It’s funny, though. I think we are headed for another Great Depression as we are off the gold standard since the early ’70’s and stimulus packages and bailouts seem all the rage. America is a 2/3 consumer economy….meaning we don’t make anything or export anything.
Hope that helps.
i believe this is aric. lol. i have the same paper. and i dont know how to answer it myself >_
